I have not had actual tobacco since 2013 - not even once - but have been struggling to find tobacco-derived e-liquids that were not ruined by bad flavorings and sweeteners. So happy to have found Real Tobacco Extract. I'm still experimenting, but so far my favorites are the Latakia-Burley tobacco (Old Judge) and Blackberry tobacco. I've also experimented with many of the cigar and pipe blends. Unlike any other product I've tried, you can actually taste and smell the subtle differences in the blends. Beautiful. So far, from the Tobacco Sampler package that arrived in my mail yesterday, I've vaped just two of the flavors: Cowboy and Turkish Classic. Both are fantastic! Evan included a notation with the invoice concerning the Turkish tobacco "Lots of pepper!", so I was expecting an over-powering throat hit. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no "over-powering" anything; it was just a wonderfully aromatic Turkish tobacco vape! Very distinct from the Cowboy flavor, yes indeed, but just that... distinct. Different. But holy hell, just as delicious!

I'm not a tobacco connoisseur, nor am I a flavor expert. So it's pointless for me to try to load this Review with a bunch of sophisticated adjectives to describe my subjective experiences with Evan's tobacco extracts. I'll leave that to him and others. Having read most of the descriptions for these awesome elixirs, though, I certainly can't disagree with them. You know, some people are gifted with descriptive language and a more refined recognition of flavor nuance. This comes with experience. Evan, as well as some of the other regulars here have the experience with fine tobaccos which enable them to paint fairly accurate word-pictures of subtle and elusive taste sensations that most of us simply haven't developed in our lives as regular smokers of commercial cigarettes. But those of us who aren't so gifted with language and experienced in tobaccos certainly can tell when such a person is spot-on based upon what our own taste senses have wordlessly informed us of. If someone describes a tobacco, for instance, as "bright, deliciously sweet and woodsy", we can relate if the description lines up with our own experience of the item under discussion. I've found that most all of the serious regulars who enjoy Real Tobacco Extract flavors, those who've reviewed Cowboy and the Turkish blends, because these are the only two I've tried so far, are spot-on... and then some. What's more, I've no reason to believe that the other blends, the ones I haven't had an opportunity to try yet (yet!), have been described falsely. And I certainly do intend to procure for myself more of these fantastic juices!!

Evan, your tobaccos are to Black Note what fine wine is to dirty dish-water. That might not be sophisticated and flowery language, but it's about as descriptive as this old Tennessee hillbilly can come up with. To anyone browsing the comments, who haven't yet tried any of the Real Tobacco Extract goodies: you have no idea what you're missing!

I picked these up yesterday...
Old Grandad, Black Prince, Blackberry - all in my preferred 24mg, plus essences of Burley and Red Virginia.
There was a generous free 'sample' in the box too - a full sized bottle of Virginia 3x essence.

The ready-to-vape juices are uniformly excellent and worth every cent. I've been testing them in my Naturevape Mini, 1.3 ohms on a Zvijer mech.

When I was a pipe smoker I was in love with spicy Red Virginia, although it was difficult to find many blends in Europe. I also enjoyed strong straight Burley flake. Old Grandad is a blend of those two and my does it hit the mark. A most satisfying and relaxing blend.

Black Prince is an Izmir Orient, Burley and Perique blend. Reminiscent of high end orient heavy cigarettes, very classy and complex.

Blackberry was my 'wildcard' in the order, based on Prof. Beard's review. And yes, it is a dark, vegetable berry taste with little sweetness on a tobacco base. Quite delicious!

Any reservations I had about NET juice being lower on flavour were unfounded. These all have flavour in spades.

Dude, been YEARS since I last smoked menthols. probably last time was in the 1990s when I smoked a couple of Newports. Yesterday turned out to be a mostly all-Cowboy Menthol day & night.

ENGLISH - PURE YELLOW LEAF BRIGHT VIRGINIA: BEST-IN-CLASS

In my opinion, if you want a good indication of the quality of a tobacco extract juice, start with the Yellow Leaf Bright Virginia. Not saying all other tobacco flavors flow from this, but if the English Yellow Leaf tobacco extract is not up to snuff, then it's doubtful the other tobacco selections will be.

R-T-E is the gold standard of English Yellow Leaf Bright Virginia. Among the others I've tried, second place is far in the distance.

Black Note's "Prelude" is a Yellow Leaf Bright Virginia, but the flavor profile is so weak that one can only assume the juice concentrate is unacceptably low, or that the maturation period was cut way too short.

There is another good English Yellow Leaf Bright Virginia, from N-E-T-dotcom, and it is much better than the Black Note. However, the natural sweetness that you find and appreciate in R-T-E's product is mostly absent. I believe that must be related to the extraction process. R-T-E employs cold extraction, whereas N-E-T uses heat extraction. To me, the cold extraction technique used by R-T-E helps retain the natural sweetness of the leaf's flavor much better than N-E-T's heat-extracted juice.

Again, N-E-T's Bright Virginia is good, much better than Black Note's "Prelude," but for me, R-T-E's Classic English Yellow Leaf Bright Virginia is in a class by itself.

At this point I've had at least 7ml of each of the 5 flavors. Thanks for sending the Havana #1; that might be my favorite of the bunch. No complaints with any of them. Turkish may be a little too mild for me. Perique is excellent. Latakia hits the spot. I need to compare it to the Black Note Latakia but from memory I think yours has better flavor. Blackberry surprised me; I enjoy it a lot. Good fruit flavor without being very sweet. Overall I think your flavors stood out more than NET. Based on your recommendation I picked up a Kayfun Prime. Need to wait a couple days for my wire order before I can try it though. I've had my eye on a Dicodes Dani Extreme v3 for a while now.

I'll be placing another order soon. Probably re-order a couple from this first order; pick up a few cigar and tea flavors. Thinking Rose and Jasmine teas, CT broadleaf and Dominca #1 cigars, and Cowboy tobacco would be good to try next.

The Hardware: Mech with Atomic dripper, 1ohm micro coil of 28ga Kanthal, Koh Gen Do wick.

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best. (For sweetness 1 equals very dry and 5 equals very sweet. For tobacco impact 1 equals very mild tobacco and 5 equals very aggressive and/or complex.)

Sweetness: 2.5. Virginia tobacco has a high sugar content, which makes it fairly sweet without the addition of added flavors. This juice is less sweet than a flavored aromatic or Cavendish blend, but still contains a nice level of sweetness as expected from cured Virginia leaves. It's sort of a green, vegetative, type of sweet. Extremely pleasant and natural, never cloying.

Tobacco Impact: 4. English is a single varietal NET made purely from bright yellow Virginia leaves. Virginia has a fairly mild flavor, but when presented like this as a straight non-aromatic without added flavoring it gives a very pure, authentic tobacco experience. Virginia NETs have a leafy taste that provides a bite and mouth feel that I just love, and English has a pitch perfect level of that leafy bite. Some may equate it to a grassiness. Triple filtered at 2.7 microns, the level of extract in this recipe provides great flavor with just moderate gunking.

Vapability: 5. A Virginia NET like this is an anytime vape for me. It works for me at all times, and is also a flavor I really crave when wanting that leafy, sweet tobacco. English does an amazing job at maintaining all it's flavor, so I can enjoy it for hours, even days, on end.

Flavor Accuracy: 4.5. Tastes exactly as expected. I like how RTE names the specific tobaccos used in each juice, and offer a good amount of information on their site about their methods and philosophies. English seems like an odd choice as a name for this juice as it brings to mind the English blends many NET vapers are accustomed to, which is usually a non-aromatic pipe blend containing several tobacco varieties, but that's just a small quibble.

Overall: 4.5. I have 3 NETs from RTE and they are all well made, but this one stands out to me the most because of my personal preference of loving the flavor of Virginia tobacco. LTE uses high quality leaves and professional methods to produce an exceptional product.

My testimony is like many of the others here, i gather from scanning the reviews; dissatisfied with the plethora of candy-like vape juices, and previously unsuccessful in finding a truly legit tobacco e-juice.

Well, I sure feel like i hit the jackpot with Real-Tobacco-Extract.com. This is top-quality stuff. not to denigrate the worthy competition, but I'm glad I tried the Black Note "Classical Notebook" sampler first. It was indeed head and shoulders above any of the previous tobacco-flavored e-juices I'd tried (Halo's "Tribeca" was my former preference), but after experiencing the cleaner, tastier, much more satisfying English Classic Bright Virginia from Real-Tobacco-Extract -- and having the good fortune of speaking with the owner of the company and learning about his experience in the field as well as his extraction process -- I feel like I'm on solid ground in terms of extolling this product.

I have been vaping the Pure Kentucky Burley for the past several days and I must say that this is the best burley e liquid I have tried. I have tried several e liquids from Evan so far and all have been superb. You owe to yourself to give this company a try.

I just tried Cowboy in 24 mg strength and am completely satisfied. This is a satisfying vape. I am used to smoking strong cigarettes and this juice satisfies my nicotine craving. English - Bright Virginia



English classic (Bright Yellow Virginia) : Captures the sweetness of Virginia without any cloying (over the top) sugariness. Crisp. This tastes how Dunhill "light flake" smells (and I extracted Dunhill light flake and it becomes cloying because of the casings so that's a point in RTE's favor!) Not a cigalike but an easy all day vape.

Cowboy - almost a hint of wheat -grassy notes

Cowboy (Virginia & Burley ) : Subtle overall but IMO unbalanced, then again I was more of a camel man when I did smoke cigarettes. Dry. Not an all day vape for me but I can think of a lot of people who would want just this. A good nightcap I'd say. Almost a hint of "wheat" , so again not a cigalike as far as I'm concerned NET wise but it hits those grassy notes that are missing from extracts using casing laden pipe tobacco.

Tonight I loaded up with Perique to sample. Excellent! The flavor of dark chocolate, cocoa is magnificent! This elixir has real depth and a unique richness. It lingers on the palette and is very smooth.

I am lucky enough to have a cigar room in my home. Exhaust, heat make up, leather club chairs the works. The humidor holds 500+ of my favorite Nicaraguans and Cubans. Tonight I watched a movie in the cigar room and enjoyed the Perique elixir with a nice Cabernet. Perique is an amazing elixir and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a satisfying tobacco experience without smoke. Cowboy and Turkish are excellent too! This juice is pretty damn good. I ordered a bottle of Turkish but didn't see the discount code upthread until I had already paid. NBD, I figured I'd use it next time.

The order was processed and shipped within a day, and they were nice enough to throw in a bottle of Cowboy. So that more than makes up for me not using the code. I think I actually like the Cowboy better than the Turkish since to me it has more taste. On my next order (yes, there will definitely be one) I'm going to look into extra flavor shots for the Turkish.

I've been vaping for about a year and a half and all this time I've been looking for the real taste of tobacco. I've spent lots of money on juice that was so far off I felt as if I had been scammed.

Then I find this place...

My first order included Turkish and Cowboy. Both of them are exceptional. Turkish is very subtle to my taste, but Cowboy rings all the bells! I no longer have to feel I'm throwing money away as I have finally found a source.

I can see many orders in the future as there is a lot here that sounds really great. Considering my first two bottles were so magnificent, I feel pretty confident I'm going to like a whole bunch more varieties.

I seldom give out five stars in reviews but these products make me wish there were more stars.

I just received the tobacco sampler pack and have so far tried the Cowboy blend. This is the best tasting straight tobacco that I've ever had the pleasure of vaping. It really does taste like a fine tobacco blend. I've tried tobaccos from a lot of other vendors but none have really come close to this elixir.
